Being stuck at home has left many of us with time on our hands. Whilst its certainly worrying times there is a case to be productive, something to which our accountant has been keen to pursue. Paul Donno from 1Accounts is creating a series of videos to help his clients and the wider public dissect the various options open to business owners. We jumped on a zoom call to see how we could help. Firstly we reviewed what equipment he had and then we looked at how to get the best out of it. Paul dug out his old DSLR, a microphone he uses for video conferencing, his laptop and a lamp. Whilst on the call, we helped him set these basic items to improve the quality of his video. As you can see, it’s a vast improvement. Once we had established how Paul could record video and audio at a higher quality, Paul sent the files over the wire for which we created the final edit. This is a great solution for anyone that wants to create a short video during the lockdown. It’s amazing what we can do with a bit of ingenuity. Obviously we can’t travel to location to record any action sequences or do multi cam recording, the fancier end of the scale, but this crisis does not mean we can’t assist with basic production and help you to promote or share knowledge.
